Doesn’t track sleep consistently

Doesn’t track sleep consistently
This is my third watch of this type that pairs with the VeryFitPro app. The first one, purchased from a different seller, lasted over 3 years and still worked even after the watch face suddenly popped off. However, it needed to be replaced because my scotch tape solution was scratching my wrist (ha, ha). The first replacement I bought came from this seller, but after it failed to record my sleep twice in the first two weeks, I figured it was faulty and decided to exchange it, so the one currently on my wrist since only October 2024 was fine until sometime in December when it periodically stopped recording my sleep. It is totally random, but it has failed to record my sleep at least 10 times now. Since the whole purpose of this watch (other than to tell time) is to record steps and sleep, it is therefore doing only half of its job. Of course, there isn’t any product support for this issue (I checked), and the return window closed long ago. For $40ish dollars, you’d think the watch would last longer than 2 months before having major issues. I don’t know why the older one I had was so much better, but I’m regretting that I threw it away. I don’t see myself buying another watch from this manufacturer/seller (I can’t tell who really makes it), so I’m not sure what I’ll do when this one stops working entirely, which seems highly likely. Such a shame, too, because it’s a great product otherwise.

It is similar to the watch I have ordered in the past with some minor changes. One that confused me at first is the watch band. First of all, it was not attached when it arrived, with my poor eyesight it took a few minutes to finally install. l thought I had it on backwards because the closure works differently. The band does not have a loop to thread through on the other side to keep the loose end in place, instead it threads under the other side to rest next to your skin. Once you get used to it, it is easy and smart, no little loop to break off and allow the band to fall off. But it is unusual. The watch itself works and is fairly easy to use once paired to your phone. It is slightly larger than the previous version.

I've had my VeryFitPro watch for about a year and half and it's still going strong. I used to use a FitBit, but they are expensive and never lasted more than 6 months for me, so I stopped buying them. This watch is good for keeping track of steps and of course time, but it does have draw backs – which is why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5. The sleep tracker doesn't work (I'm okay with that). Some of the other features don't always work either, but the step tracker and clock always work. And the app has ads that can be annoying.

I was getting the Fitbit through my insurance for about 4 years (one fitbit every 2 years). But, the darned Fittbit never lasted 2 years and was expensive to purchase
So,I searched and searched and finally found the Octandra for a fraction of the price of the Fitbit.
I only want the time, date, steps or mileage and a timer. I don't trust (and am told not to trust) heart rate or blood pressure in the Fitbit so for me, the Octandra is perfect. Easy to operate. The App is easy to use. It tracks my weekly mileage and gives e everything I want at a very reasonable price
    I highly recommend this product

I love this watch, I've had mine for about two months prior to convincing my fiancé to get one of his own (after buying a different band, he was allergic and the fit was wonky) and sure enough he loves it too! Battery life and simplicity is by far my favorite aspect of this watch. Sleek look to it and the accuracy for the walking, sleeping, ect is perfect for me. I love the different lighting for the screen as well, perfect between being outside in the sun to low at night in bed so you're not blinded lol. I use the alarms, notification from calls/messages, and especially the timer personally! Only thing that has bothered me is the watch "disconnects" after my bluetooth is used from my vehicle or speaker for cleaning sessions. Other than that I cannot think of another watch that would take it's place!

Nice simple smart watch that works with very fitpro app, easy to use. I alleady had a smart watch like this one, different make, but exactly the same watch ,that I'd had for few years around 4/5. I sat it near my draining board ,and a lot of water got into it,and over time the screen wouldn't swipe and them it went black. So when I saw this watch was the same,I orderd it. It came quickly, and as I allready had the fitbit app in my phone,I disconnected the old one,and connected this one,so easy to do. I didn't need a smart watch that could make calls,or recieve calls, so this one is perfect for me. It counts steps, moniters your sleep and heart rate via the app. Happy that I found exactly the same watch as I had before .

Stopped working after less than 3 months!

Reviewed in Australia on August 14, 2024

It was a birthday present that stopped working after 2-3 months after purchase. I was very excited when it came because its perfect red colour as per description. Screen nice and bright, but with unfortunate of not working at all after 2 months of daily use. Oddly small magnetic sensitive charger – not impressed with that. Cannot find option HOW to contact seller, so any advice appreciated!

    Great watch

I purchased this watch 3 years ago and loved it. Then it started acting up, not holding its charge, so I figured for the price I paid, I would just purchase another one. It's a great tracker. Has the features that I want and holds its charge for a week or more. Great value for the money.

It’s larger than I expected but I’m older and appreciate the larger numbers for ease of seeing without glasses. I love the navy colour. Enjoy that I can choose a variety of clock faces. Does exactly what I wanted .. tracks steps and heartbeat. I’m enjoying it as my Fitbit was smaller but difficult to see..read. All in all happy and satisfied
