    This remote does exactly what I was hoping for- works for the basic TV features on my very old Element FireTV. I can power the tv on and off as well as switch inputs , which a fire stick remote wouldn't do.

    Some of the other buttons do random things, I just don't push those.

My original inherited remote was missing the door and a couple important buttons didn’t work. The replacement looks identical, and it is exactly as pictured in the listing. It worked flawlessly as soon as I put in the batteries. It even had the name “Element” printed on the bottom. It is a great value.
